Ben's Aunt Judy gave me a calendar for teachers during her visit last December. I enjoy tearing off the old day in order to read the thought for the new day. Today's thought is as follows:
"We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, some are more popular than others - but they all have to learn to live in the same box."

Cute!!
Kelly- Oh how so true that statement has become! That is something that we are trying to teach Garrett at the ripe old age of 6. It is also very true in everyday life. No matter where we are at, there is always going to be someone who is just a bit differnt than us. If only we as adults would learn that we have to live in the smae box! Wouldn't life be a little easier?
Sorry about the typo! My fingers were moving a little to fast. differnt= different in the english language! and same= smae(the word I spelled). Smae is what Gollum would have said in "Lord of the Rings"!
thats true.
my kids are actually all sitting around me at the table coloring in their coloring books. but we have to keep our crayons in a zip-lock bag now b/c our boxes got destroyed long ago.
