One More Day!

One more day before spring break begins! I tell ya, it's not just the kids who get antsy for school to be over. I am definately ready! It's very hard to stand up in front of a classroom all day and talk about depressed polynomials and the factor theorem when the weather is beautiful and you are just plain tired.

We leave tomorrow morning for Florida. I want to be on the road by six, Ben is thinking more like eight. We shall see. We are staying at the beautiful Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee which is right outside of Orlando. We'll be vacationing with my sister and her family as well as many of her in-laws. Here are some pictures of the resort.

It's going to be a blast! No big plans, except to spend a lot of time in the water and out in the sun. I hope to read several books and play lots of games. Ben and I would also like to visit the Holy Land Experience. Has anyone ever been there? We have heard some great things about it. These pictures make me very excited to experience it!

Have a Happy Easter as you celebrate the resurrection! We will be celebrating in our condo with my sister's, husband's family. Kim's mother-in-law asked Ben to prepare a sermon for all of us. Ben agreed and also volunteered me to do special music. Isn't he funny?
I'll be back to blogging in about 10 days or so. In the mean time, I need to get my lesson plans done! AHH!

Have a great time! Maybe you and Ben could sing a special together... just a thought!

You have obviously never heard me sing.

Have a great time! Do you have a cute maternity bathing suit? I think those are always so cute :) Enjoy!

Pam,
I used to think they were cute too until I put one on! :) I did buy one the other night. Ben thinks it's cute. It seems like all of the bathing suits have this design with a hole between the breasts. Yeah, I'm not into that. So I basically purchased the only bathing suit without the hole. It's solid black - not much to it -but it covers my belly so I'm happy. Sarah says I should post a picture of myself in it. I'm not sure I'm that brave.

I think Sarah is right....take a great one while you're down there and show off your belly! If your husband thinks you're cute in it, that's all that matters :)

Kelly, I really liked my maternity suit, it is blue and white gingham looking, if you want to have it you can! Of course it wont do you any good for your Florida trip, but this summer you would look stunning in it. (And there is no hole between the boobs)

I think I had that same maternity suit. I wasn't too thrilled about it either. Have fun in Florida. It's great that you're getting away before the baby comes. We did that before Esther was born and just have lots of great memories of couple time. We've been to the Holy Land Experience five years ago and it was really great. I've heard they've added a lot. You'll think it well worth it especially this time of year. I'm jealous!

I wish I were going to Florida. Our beautiful flowers are covered in snow. I guess we are better off than some though. I heard Marquette had 24 inches. If you see our pastor down there someplace, say "Hi".

Have fun in Florida! I am slightly jealous! My sister has gone to the Holy Land Experience and she enjoyed it. Kissimmee is where the Soccer National Tournament is so we have been there a few times. Nice place! Have fun in the sun!

Have a wonderful wonderful time! Enjoy the sun for us snowy mid-westerners. I vote for a photo in the maternity bathing suit. At least from the belly up!

the resort looks great. tell us about the "holy land" thing. John and I are watching videos on Israel and we would like to go someday. I didn't know anything like that existed in the states.
