Tonight we returned home from a quick and full weekend in Michigan. We had a baby shower on Saturday morning at Immanuel Bible Church. Yes, I know - another shower. You may think we are spoiled, but we prefer to say that we are abundantly blessed!
As you can see, we got some great gifts. Ben and I both love to read and we hope that our children will have that same love. Owen got a great start to his own library, thanks to the women at IBC. He walked away (okay, was carried away) with 57 books!!!! We are thrilled!
If any of you who were at the shower read this blog - thank you for coming and thank you for your generosity!

57 books??? wow! that's great! :) looks like a great haul. very cool. :)
What GREAT books! Those are terrific investments. In my opinion one can never own too many books (unless they're worthless junky books of course). Ooh, I'm jealous of that 5-minute Bible stories one. Looks like you got some good classics too. Chloe has the foot book memorized now because we've read it so much!
