A Neat Discovery

Ben and I go on a lot of walks. It's great family time and we do it several times a week. Last week while on one of our walks we just happened to come across this huge reservoir about a mile and a half from our house. We had no idea it was even there! There is a really nice walk-way all around it that measures three quarters of a mile. We went back there last night and walked around it a couple of times. It is so nice to be there when the sun sets. It was about 80 degrees and the geese were all flying in and smoothly landed on the water. All across the water you could see fish jumping out. It is absolutely beautiful. We took our camera last night and took a few pictures. I wish we would have had it the first time we were there because the sky was pink and we could see the sun setting behind the building.

There is water on both sides of this building.

It is such a great place to push a stroller!

We love our family walks too! I remember pushing Gavin around in the stroller everywhere and Ryan and I could talk endlessly without any distractions! Now, Gavin rides his bike and chats the entire time. He barely lets us get a word in! We are always reminding him that he needs to let someone else have a turn talking! Have fun on your walks and I hope you discover more great places to go in the years to come!
