The Kentucky Horse Museum , in Lexington, includes 1200 acres of beautiful, open, land covered by hundreds of horses. It is absolutely gorgeous! You can ride, pet, or feed the horses. And of course there is wealth of knowledge about them to be gained in the actual museum. I love museums, but it is a little difficult with a baby and my grandmother. Owen prefers to be outside and my grandma doesn't stand still long enough to be able to fully appreciate what the museum has to offer. Harold spent years working with the horses and I think he especially enjoyed the day.
Here is my Grandma with her "friend" Harold. Harold is 85 years old and living with cancer. You would never know it! He's a hard working man and does a lot for my Grandma. He helps to keep her young, believe it or not! These two are constantly working on some project together.
Owen couldn't care less about this big horse in his face. He was just content to suck his thumb.
Celeste is my cousin's daughter. She had a great time with the horses.

I love this shot of Harold and Celeste.

Kelly...we have passed by the signs for this museum so many times and wondered what was actually there. Thanks for the pictures. We might actually stop next time through. By the way, I always go through Kara's blog to get to yours. You have a running log and I didn't want you to be freaked out. Have a great week.

Chris, you are funny!
Kelly, that place looks beautiful! I would love to go there, my mom used to have horsed growing up, maybe I could drag her along. :)
Wow, that pregnant girl in the blue shirt is so pretty. Is she famous, I think I've seen her before. Can you post more pictures of her so I can admire them.
