The last five years have been quite an adventure! Five years ago today, I became Mrs. Ben Glupker. It was a beautiful, sunny day and our wedding was perfect - except that Pastor Saunders accidentally asked me to take Ben as my wife. 400+ family and friends showed us their love and support by coming to witness us commit our lives to one another. Who would have thought that in just five years we would have lived in 5 different homes and two different states and now be in school full time? It's not the path we would have chosen, but it is God's will for us and we are so thankful to be right where we are! God timed everything just the way I always said I wanted it. I wanted to live on my own for a year before getting married - did that. I wanted to have my college degree and be working in my field before marriage - did that. I wanted to be married at least 3 or 4 years before having children - did that. I wanted to marry a man who loves God and loves ministry - did that. God is so kind to give me the desires of my heart! It is all because of God's goodness and grace that I became Ben's wife. He is the perfect man for me! He is EXACTLY what I need. He knows how to love me, correct me and lead me. I am a strong willed woman with a lot of opinions and God gave me a man much stronger than I who lovingly guides me and sharpens me.
