Disney's Animal Kingdom

We had no intentions of visiting a Disney park this year, but on Monday night plans changed and we found ourselves at Animal Kingdom Tuesday morning. We were glad we went! It was a great day to be outside and oddly enough it wasn't all that busy - at least not compared to past years. The kids had a great time. Some of the highlights were the Festival of the Lion King, It's Tough to Be a Bug, the Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinoland and the dramatic production of Finding Nemo. Owen has never seen The Lion King but he sure did enjoy the show. He was dancing and yelling throughout the entire show. Part way through It's a Bug's Life he took off his 3D glasses and announced he was done. He said he was "scared during the scary parts." Here are a few pictures of our day at Animal Kingdom:

Aubrey mapped out our day for us Best Friends, Owen and Brookie
Aubrey loves fish! And she makes the most adorable fish face.
She caught a quick cat nap.
Grandparents! This was the first year my dad joined us on our annual Florida vacation. We were so glad he came. He had a "blast" and we all loved having him there!
This isn't a flattering picture, but it's the only one I have of me and my boy together.
