Friday night we had our commencement service at the school we teach at. We had a good turnout with many attendees. It is always exciting to see your students accomplish great things, such as graduation, and move on to the next phase of their journey. It is a thrill to be involved in each life. I would have pictures to post, but my camera decided not to work this weekend.
The commencement speaker was AWESOME! He challenged the class of 2006 to love Jesus above all else. It was a 25-minute speech, but very well received. In fact afterward many, many, people waited in line to shake the speakers hand and tell him what a great message he had. Even an underclassman asked if he could have a copy of his notes. The pastor of the church told the speaker that it was very clear that “God’s call into the pulpit was on his life.” The speaker humbly put his head down and said “thank you.” So much attention embarrassed him I think. I on the other hand was smiling with pride. This tremendous commencement speaker was my wonderful husband, Mr. Ben Glupker. He loves to study God’s Word and God has blessed him with the ability to teach it and preach it. Even a few days after the fact, people are still talking about the message they heard on Friday night. I hope you’ll excuse my bragging – I am just really proud of him! Trust me, I recognize that it is Christ who works through us and that Ben is nothing outside of Him. But I am so thankful that my man loves the Lord and that God chooses to use him!

You have every reason to be proud! It is so neat to see the Lord use our husbands in His ministry. Those kids will probably remember that message for the rest of thier lives. What an opportunity to have an impact on the lives of those future ministry leaders.
