Exciting Things Going On In Our Life

A few exciting things have happened over the last few days and I wanted to make mention of them. Here it goes:

- Commencement is over! (Ben is thankful for that)
- I got 10 inches cut off my hair! (Sorry, I can't post a pic)
- My brother-in-law graduated from high school! (Mr. Jeff Kahl was
the commencement speaker, small world eh?)
- Today was the last day of school! (I can't believe it)
- I just got a job working 40 hours a week as a secretary! (I'll be
working with kids who are in trouble with the law)
- Ben just got a few jobs! (building decks, painting a house, etc)
- I have some part time work cleaning our church again for some extra
cash!
- We are going to Cedar Point tomorrow! (yahoo!)
- We are going to North Carolina next week for my brother-in-law's
wedding
- We are camping on Lake Michigan for a week at the end of June!
- I have health insurance until August! (Praise the Lord!)

The Lord is so good to us. Just when I think things look so terrible, He proves once again that He hasn't forgotten us and that He has a special plan. We are still praying for our house to sell. If it doesn't sell before the middle of July, then we will remain in Michigan until it does. Even if the house doesn't sell I know that God is sovereign and that nothing happens outside of His control. If He wants us in Kentucky, we will get there. If He doesn't, well then I guess we will stay put. But regardless of the outcome, I am so thankful I can trust in Him!

Are those links I see on the side of your blog! Good for you. Hey, I enjoyed your praise of your hubby. It didn't sound like bragging at all, just a wife who really loves her husband. That's hard to find these days.

Kelly,
I am pretty excited about those links, though I can't really take credit for figuring out how to do it. Christina emailed me step by step (I mean VERY detailed) directions on how to do it. She is so great!

Amanda,
I will post pictures as soon as I have a camera that works! :)

Holy mackerel, God is doing a lot in your lives! How was cedar point? I worked as a secretary (administrative assistant was the politically correct term) for awhile after teaching burned me out and it was a great experience. I learned a TON about computers through that job and I LOVED being able to leave my work at the end of the day!

Hey Jake,
What is your email address? How did you add a link to Adam's blog? You do it the same way. Anyhow, I will email you the info when I get your address.
