Have you ever had somebody tell you that you looked like a celebrity? Today Ben and I visited another church here in Louisville. One of the men came over to introduce himself to us. He looked at me, pointed, and said, "Mary Ann from Gilligans Island!" I had no idea why he said it, but I was happy because I know who Mary Ann from Gilligans Island is. (If you know me, you know I am NOT familiar with famous people!) When the man said this, a nearby couple said, "Oh yeah, she does look like Mary Ann." Even Ben agreed! They said it was my blue eyes contrasting with my dark hair. Go figure! Anyhow, I thought it was kind of funny. At least they didn't compare me to Ginger, I always thought she was an airhead. At least Mary Ann wasn't a ditz - even the professor liked her!

i always liked mary ann. the only celebrity people tell me i look like is barbra streisand...it must be the nose!
I really AM impressed that you know who that was. I do have to say that with your hair the way it is now, you do look like her!
Kelley- You do look a little like Mary-Ann! Although I didn't get to say hi, it was great to see you at church a couple of weeks ago. We sure do miss you. Have a wonderful week.
Amy Hager
Kelly-
Sorry I spelled your name wrong. We have a friend who spells it Kelley!!!
Kelly,
You two are close in looks - where are the pigtails?
People say I look like Cathy Bates! A couple of women even made that comment at ladies retreat. Do you know who she is? I sure didn't when I was first approached a couple years ago! I had to look her up and ask around. I'm with you - not good with actors or actresses!
Kelly,
I don't know I need to see a side by side view. At least it wasn't Ginger...I always liked Mary Ann best. Ginger always annoyed me.
Cathy,
You do look like Cathy Bates. :)
Pam,
Don't be too impressed. I recognized her T.V. name. If he would have told me I looked like Dawn Wells I would have had a blank stare on my face.
Cathy,
I don't know who Cathy Bates is. I will have to ask Ben or look her up.
Amy,
I am so glad you are in the blog-o-sphere! I will be sure to check out your blog! It was good to be at Trinity. I miss it A LOT! It's such a wonderful church.
Do you wear the shorty shorts like Mary Ann too? :) Sorry, had to say it.
HEy i updated my blog so now you can quit complaining!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you are doing well! Love you guys!
MJ
Kelley,
Feel free to add me to your list. I have several friends from college who have blogs. It is a nice and easy way to keep in touch. I remember that day in the mall about being pregnant and barefoot. Needless to say, after 3 kids, we are done. Wanted to also let you know that I pray for you and Ben that God will one day soon allow you to be parents. You will make a wonderful mommy when the opportunity arises. We sure do miss you here. Praying that all is well in KY!!
Love ya,
Amy
Kelly,
I wonder how old Mary Ann would be now? I wonder what she looks like? Will you, Kelly, look like her when you're her age now?? Better do some digging!
Alicia,
I do wear those shorty shorts - I call them underwear. :)
Wow, those must be REALLY short shorts! :)
Kelly
You make me laugh.
