Our Time in Michigan

Grandma Thelma's great-grandkids: Brooklyn, Cole, Celeste, Trevor, Brenden. (and grandma's dog, Chico)

Jess, Shawn, Brooklyn, Kim, and Jeff

Cole and Brenden Ben and Grandma Thelma

We had a great, though short, visit home for Thanksgiving. Wednesday night was my surprise birthday party. Thursday Ben and I took Cole with us to the Feldpausch farm for dinner with the Rademacher side of my family. It was nice to visit with the cousins, aunts, uncles, and my grandma. We then headed out to Grand Rapids to see the Glupker clan. We ended the day in Ionia where we spent the night at my cousin Jess' house with her husband and kids. Friday we had a nice visit with my Grandma Thelma (my mom's mom). Today was a nice relaxing day at Kim and Jeff's where Kim and I decorated the Christmas tree with the help of the kids. We also went to Ben's parents house to visit for a few hours. Tomorrow we head home to Kentucky. :(

What a whirlwind trip you guys had! How funny that you were in GR for part of the visit; so were we! Wouldn't that have been a hoot if we would have run into each other?!? Did you get to do any shopping? Sounds like you didn't have time to!

Alicia,
What a small world! No, I didn't do any Christmas shopping, did you? I can't say I am much of a shopper. I am cheap (frugal), but not enough so to wait in long lines all day.
