I thought this story was so sweet that I had to share it!
My sister explained to Cole last Wednesday that it was my birthday. He excitedly suggested that they bake me a cake. Kim sort of shrugged it off and went to the back of the house to change Brooklyn's diaper. When she came back into the kitchen, Cole had pulled out a cake mix, some frosting, and the cupcake pans. He even had paper cups in the pan. He stood over a mixing bowl and while looking at the back of the box on the cake mix, said, "Mom, I need three eggs!" They did end up making me some cupcakes and then the boys even helped to frost them.

We had a good time this weekend with you guys. I just wished it would have lasted a little longer. Our house is your house... anytime. We love having you here! Now I can't wait until your Christmas break.
PS Do you think Ben would mind if you moved in with me over your summer break next year? I would take good care of you.
Kelly,
I admit it I am completly jealous of you!
Jenny,
My first thought is, "WHY?!?!" :)
Kelly,
Just being able to spend time with the kids. I miss our niece and nephew and Kara's brood. It's so fun to watch all of them.
We love to see the kids too! Cole is starting to think deeply about some things - like the differences between girls and boys. We were in the car and out of nowhere he said, "Aunt Kelly you don't have a pee pee do you?" I told him no and several minutes later he said, "Aunt Kelly, do kitties have pee pees?" He is so precious!!!
I am not sure how I feel about you discussing my son's questions about pee-pees to the entire blogging world. Couldn't you think of any other cute stories to tell?!
