My Boring Blog

Chris Luter informed me this weekend that my blog is sometimes "boring" because I write about books I have read and other "boring" things. Sorry to tell ya Chris, but Ben just surprised me with another great book and when I am done reading it, I'll probably post about it. :)

1. Your blog is not boring. I would like to hear more about your life though :) because I miss you guys.
2. At least you update your blog often.

Jenny,
I suppose I could write more personal things. I just never can think of anything to say. I am not a very exciting person. :)

Oh stop! You are very exciting.

I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything, but have you read Chris's blog? It's not exactly action-packed.

ha ha ha! Josh, you made me laugh! Take that Chris!!!

I don't think your posts are boring at all. I don't have time to read them all the time because you sometimes get... well, let's just say it... wordy. But, this is one of the many things I love about you. I am sorry for not commenting more, but it is sometimes hard for me to think of what else to say when we talk on the phone everyday (because we are both very wordy). Boring is one thing that you are not. Love ya Kel.

I am going to have to say that it is boring. Although i am intreged by this accent thing. At least your blog is moving in the right direction.

Jake,
Maybe my blog is just boring to those who don't like to be intellectually stimulated.

Kimbe,
Thank you for your nice comment. I'm so glad we're sisters! By the way, I'm sorry for letting Cole's story leak out. :) Love you!

kelly,

i think you are the best blogger ever- every post is scintillating! your insights are thoughtful and intriguing. you are truly an amazing woman.

in fact, if you weren't already married...

Kelly,
I don't remember saying that your blog was boring, more like I don't always read your book reviews. Mostly I don't read these because they are about marriage and I am not married...they don't apply to me. I read your blog almost everyday, except for the book reviews.

Chris,
I distinctly remember you using the word "boring", but don't worry about it - Jake agrees with you. :)

Kelly,
That was kinda a low blow when you basically called me dumb! I think there is a difference from me calling your blog boring and you calling me dumb.

Jake,
Take it easy! Besides, I didn't say you COULDN'T be intellectually stimulated. Different blogs have different material. You can use your blog to talk about family, keep in touch with friends, or discuss what you're learning. You will draw various readers depending on what people care to read. I don't think you're dumb! :)

So, what's your new book?

Jake B. said...

Kelly, i was just kidding. I guess i should have thrown in a smiley face or something. :) No hard feelings. But i still agree with Chris. :) 1 other thing. Why do i have to enter a word verification every time i want to enter a comment?

Alicia,
It's "Holiness" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Have you read any of her books? She's great! Her walk with Christ is a real challenge to me.

Jake,
I guess I need the smiley faces! :) You have to enter a word verification because I set it up that way. I no it's annoying, but if you don't have it you will get these spam comments. Have you ever read a comment on somebody's blog that says, "You could earn extra cash working from home!" - well those stupid comments wouldn't show up if your word verification was enacted. At least, that's how I think it works!
