A wise schoolteacher sends this note to all parents on the first day of school:
"If you promise not to believe everything your child says happens at school, I'll promise not to believe everything he says happens at home."

I like this quote Kelly. With working with teens and their parents, not in the school setting, but in counseling, this is also true.
It reminds me of what Art Linkletter used to always used to ask kids on his program. "What did your parents say not to talk about today?"
oh, I wish we had heard that like 5 years ago. Ben used to teach 1st and 2nd grades, and that would have been so nice to stick somewhere on a note home!!!! It's so true!
Very cute and very true! Wish I would have had that during my teaching days.
