Today I interviewed for a secretarial position at the Temple. I got the job! I am thankful for a hard working husband because he is the reason I was hired on the spot. Ben has a great reputation at the synagogue and everybody just loves him. His co-workers constantly tell me that he is nice, dependable, hard working, and takes initiative - always doing much more than he is ever asked or expected to do. Because he has proven to be such a good worker they asked him if I needed a job because they needed a secretary.
I start on Tuesday. The office ladies all seem very nice. I can have as many hours as I want and the pay is pretty good. They repeatedly told me that they were very flexible and would work around my trips home, doctor's appointments, etc. They even told me that once the baby was born they would allow me to bring the baby with me every day if I wanted to continue working! How many employers allow you to bring your child to work with you every day?!?! We haven't made any final decisions yet, but it sure is nice to know that I have the option to bring in some extra money and yet still care for my baby. Thank you, Lord!
