This is my attempt to take a picture of Owen and I together. Here is the outfit that my 2 year old nephew, Brenden picked out.

We went for a walk today with our neighbor and her son. The neighborhoods aren't flat here like they are in Michigan. After walking uphill in 85 degree weather for close to an hour, I was very thirsty! Owen is filling out his carseat much better now.
We both took a nap after our walk. Daddy came home from work and took a few pictures of us.

My "secret" is that I am blessed to take after my mom. I'm told that she always lost her pregancy weight right after we were born. I am 6 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight so I have lost just over 45 pounds. My doctor thought about 20 pounds or so was due to swelling so my guess is I lost the rest thanks to my mom!!!
Okay, so I was about to get on here and cheer you on for walking so soon after having Owen, but now, I read your comments and I am just jealous of all the weight you have lost!!:) Seriously though, that is great! Cute pictures of mama and baby sleeping:)
Kelly, you look great! Owen has really "filled" out and growing so fast. You must have been out when your hubby came home. It is so fun to take nice little naps while they rest on your belly isn't it? They were some of my favorite times. :)
i loved those days of napping with the newborn. enjoy it while you can with your first...i'm going to miss the moments with our second. you are looking great yourself by the way. you look like you've dropped all your pregnancy weight. it took me forever to get it off- but it was all worth it!
we love george!! i think he's really making a come back. :) wasn't he big when we were little?
