Our family of three went on a short vacation last weekend to Nashville. We had a great time!

The pictures above and below were both taken inside the Opryland hotel. It's amazing! There is even a river that flows right through the middle. It's like a little city inside with all kinds of neat little shops and restaurants.
Here is Owen with his little buddy, Broc. Broc's parents, Barry and Courtney, are our good friends from church. They went to Nashville too and we had a lot of fun hanging out together. Courtney is one of the moms I get together with every other week for a "play date."

Wow, and I was excited about going to Barnes and Noble with Casey- that looks like a fantastic time! I love all the Christmas lights! And that you get to wear sweatshirts outside in December!
i love "little vacations" like that! matt and i have built our marriage on weekends away that refresh us. i hope we're able to do that as frequently with our little girl!
