One year ago today I was put on bed rest due to preeclampsia. You can read the story here. I had gained 60 pounds - and from the looks of these pictures, about 30 of those pounds were in my feet! Bed rest was expected to last for 3.5 weeks. Instead, it lasted a mere 4 days. I am still praising the Lord for the healthy and safe delivery of our son, John Owen. I am so thankful for all that God has done for us in this last year. I hope I never forget how good God was to us this time last year, and how good He is to us even today.

Oh Kelly, no wonder you kept checking out my feet the last time I saw you! I'll praise the Lord right along with you that Owen AND you are safe and healthy.
I would have never guessed those were your feet.
Wow Kelly! Praise the Lord God brought your little man here safe, even with all the swelling and troubles your body was having. I remember praying for you for the long best rest, and the next thing we knew Owen was here! God is Good!
oh my goodness! When I saw that picture I thought to myself, "Surely they didn't paint that boys toes?" I thought that because they looked just like chub chub baby feet! You poor thing! What a blessing to be able to look back and see how far the Lord has brought you!
Looks normal to me -- for the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
wow, kelly those were great shots. yes, praise the Lord for a healthy son!
Suzanne,
You are not the first person to think that. Aren't they terrible?
