"Does this make you happy?"

We are smack dab in the middle of the 3 to 6 week stretch when babies typically have their evening fussy times. Aubrey is no exception. She's a happy girl until it's time for me to give Owen a bath, make dinner or perform some other task that requires both hands. And so at times I am left with no choice but to let her cry. Owen is all about being "happy." He talks about it all the time and sings about it throughout the day. He frequently asks Aubrey if she's happy. Last night, Aubrey was not happy and it was at a time that my hands were tied and I couldn't get to her. So Owen took it upon himself to try and make her happy. He piled all kinds of things on top of her and all the while asked if she was happy. He gave her a doll, a pacifier, a bib, a couple of burp cloths, a blanket and a pillow. And she STILL wasn't happy, but it made me smile and I had to snap a picture.
