The Bed is FULL

For months Aubrey has gone to bed with her monkey, George, and two baby dolls along with a cup of water and her favorite blanket. Whenever she got out of bed she came with all of these items on hand. She would sleep on her belly with her arms wrapped around her earthly treasures. She has recently added to her collection of things she sleeps with. In fact, today at nap time she even included a large clunky, plastic truck. I have noticed that in the last week or so she no longer brings her her load of favorites out of bed anymore, presumably because it has become too much for her to carry. The other night Ben went in to check on the kids and suggested I take a peek. The picture shows what we saw. She has apparently added several more things to her bed after we've tucked her in! If you look carefully, you'll see that she's in the picture too.

My son, Clive, has done EXACTLY that same thing! One night we even found the stuffed animal bin in his bed. The actual BIN! In wonder if it's a security thing? Like they always like to be surrounded by animals because during the day they're always surrounded by people? Whatever the case, it sure is cute! :)

i love this. meg does the same thing. toys, books, jewelry, stuffed animals, calculators… anything she's been playing with that day. i've tried to keep jewelry and purses out b/c i've been afraid she'll strangle herself. she will sing and talk to all of these items until the bitter end. we'll hear singing, singing, singing… quiet. hilarious.

I love this! So cute! Daniel is our first child to sleep with anything besides a thumb or pacifier. He requires his little blankie and books to read. He literally falls asleep "reading" each nap and night. Little kids are so cute!

Looks like Aubrey is not alone . . . in her bed or in her habits. haha!
