To prepare for today's Bible lesson on King Solomon I asked the kids this question, "If you could ask God for anything and knew you would get it, what would you ask of him?" Owen thought for a moment and replied, "I'd ask for a cheetah." Aubrey didn't think about it at all. She quickly answered, "I'd ask for food!" If you know my Aubrey girl, you know how true her answer is.
I then went on and told them what Solomon asked for . . . wisdom. And I prayed over them, that God would make all of us wise.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." James 1:5
