Here are a few pictures of our house: Ben's workshop, his office, the living room and kitchen. We have put a lot of work into this house. Since we purchased it we have painted every square inch, replaced all of the outlets and light fixtures, painted the shutters, put on a new roof, landscaped the front yard, put in a new furnace, refinished the hardwood floors, put in new carpet, and bought all new appliances. We also took out a wall and some cupboards. I am very thankful that my husband is a "Mr. Fix-It."
This is house is a great buy - we wish we could take it with us to Kentucky. If anybody wants to move to Saginaw, check it out!

What a cute house! I am sure it will be hard to leave it since you put so much work into it. But just think, you will make money off of it, and you will make it nice for the next owners! That is what we are doing with our house right now. We have put alot of work into it and plan on doing alot more! It is fun and rewarding, though. Good luck in the sale of your home.
I know what it's like to be waiting to have a house sell. When my parents decided to go to bible college, we had to sell our home before we could move up to NBBC. The house sold in decemember and i believe it was about 2 weeks before we had to be at the college. And if i remember right, the lady who bought the house didn't even want to move in until the spring. The Lord is able to do miraculous things and i hope that this one of many stories of His provision will encourage you to keep trusting.
Amanda,
Your story is VERY encouraging and exactly what I needed to hear!
Beautiful home! Think it would be too long a commute from Saginaw to Kent State for us. :(
Kelly, my parents just sold their home to move up here for my dad to become a student. God is so good. He is able! Do you both teach at Grace is Huntington, WV? We moved from Cross Lanes, WV 4 yrs ago already. Time flies. Maybe we're talking about 2 different schools :) and I'm a moronn! :)
Carissa,
Actually I teach at Grace Christian school in Saginaw, Michigan.
