Many of my readers have heard of the CRIM. It is the annual race in Flint, MI. Each year some kid from Kenya wins running 7 minute miles. It's amazing. What I also think is amazing, is that my 51 year old Dad runs in it every year. There are over 8,000 runners in this 10 mile race. Many of which walk, quit, or finish several hours after it starts. Not my Dad! He finished running his 10 miles in 1 hour, 36 minutes, and 19 seconds. Pretty good eh? He's in better shape than most people my age! Of course my Dad lifts regularly -he's pretty cut! :) (excuse my bragging) I stole this picture of him from my brother's myspace. Korey and I went to the race together to cheer Dad on. The picture was taken just before Dad crossed the finish line. It cracks me up because if you know my Dad, you have seen this facial expression before! Good Job on the race Dad. You make your family proud!
