Our Christmas Tree

Here it is! This is our Christmas tree this year. My sister-in-law Sarah sent it down with my father-in-law last weekend. Wasn't she thoughtful? I LOVE the Christmas season and I was disappointed when I discovered that we just didn't have enough floor space for a normal size tree.

We tried to capture a few shots with the tree so we had to sit on the floor to get both of us and the tree in the same picture.

Thank you Sarah!!!

That's okay that you don't have a normal tree! It's still fun, and doesn't change the reason for the season!!!

Kelly, aren't small trees fun? This is the first year that we get to have a big one, and I have to say, the small one is missed! Happy Christmas!

Aw, your wee little tree is so cute! Looks like you've done a swell job making your apt. feel homey for Christmas. Where will you guys be spending the holidays?

Thanks Pam! You're sweet.

Shannon,
I agree with you. Besides we aren't going to be here anyway so putting up a big tree seemed like a waste.

Jenny,
It is nice not having the mess of a big tree!

Alicia,
I tried to do something to make our home look like Christmas. I haven't gotten into the "spirit" yet though. I hung lights around the place, put up a nativity, and hung some stockings. That's about it.
We are going to Michigan for Christmas to be with family. We will only be home for a short time, but we are definately excited to go! What about you guys?

I'm absolutely amazed how expensive Christmas trees are here. Of course, I never bought one in Michigan, so I don't really know how expensive they were there. But at Wal-Mart, even the little pathetic trees are going for $25-$30. That seems insane to me.

This pointless and barely-on-subject rant was brought to you by the letters A and Z. :)

I never would've dreamed in a thousand years that my tree would make it on such a famous blog. I'm honored!! (as is my tree). Seriously...glad you're enjoying the little guy. It looks nice in your place. See you soon.

love ya
Sarah
