Sleeping Baby

Every night I take a peek at Owen numerous times before I go to bed. I love to watch him sleep. Sometimes his bottom is straight up in the air. Sometimes he is snoring. He often has his thumb in his mouth. Many times he has his arm twisted in what looks like a very uncomfortable, if not painful, position. Tonight I decided to snap a picture of it.

So now I need to know--do you leave his arm that way or fix it before you leave?:) I always checked on my kids too and couldn't believe the positions they slept in sometimes, and still do.

Elijah has some of the weirdest positions when he sleeps! He snores SO loud, it keeps me awake sometimes. I too check on him several times and just often stare and smile at him cause he's so cute! Elijah is a scooter in bed - he'll scoot from one end to the other and have his head squished up against the bumper in the morning - that can't be comfortable! Guess he doesn't care!

Oh that does look uncomfortable!

Nicki,
I always leave him. He sleeps in weird positions every night so I assume that's how he likes it. :)

Abby,
Owen does the same thing! He's quite the creeper and doesn't seem to mind having his face stuffed in the bumper.

I miss when my boys were little and sleeping in their cribs. Kyle always sleep with his bottom in the air too. Richard sleep with his legs hanging out of the crib between the bars and I even have a picture of him sleeping stanging in front of the rocking chair with his head on the seat. Owen is so cute.

Kelly,
I think I would leave him too. Obviously he thinks it's great.

there's NOTHING like a sleeping baby! It amazes me how still and quiet they actually can be (as they get older it's more amazing!)

YES! i check on connor all the time before i go up to bed. i love to see him sleeping too, and i love to see him in all of his outrageous sleeping positions. now that he's in his big boy bed, i have to move him (or more accurately... have nathan move him since i can't bend that well lately:) he's always dangling off the end of the bed.... he likes to sleep with his head at the foot of the bed. what a goof ball.
