Thanks to some great deals at Meijer this week and the incredible coupons I found, this is what I bought last night for a mere $33.50. Included are ten boxes of cereal, three boxes of crackers, potatoes, carrots, strawberries, bananas, corn on the cob and much more! My bill was almost $70.00 before I scanned my coupons! Thank you Lord for answering my prayer - to find some good deals and help me be a good steward of our resources.

i thought about posting the same exact thing yesterday. because of the great coupons and deals at meijer, i was able to plan 2 weeks of meals and got $100 worth of groceries for $74. it was awesome! i told matt that i felt like such a frugal shopper that day.
the only thing i wasn't able to buy was the cereal, which i'm kicking myself for! great job. its so refreshing to see other mom's trying to save their family's resources and honor God with their spending.

You can still get them from your Sunday paper, but I get many of mine from coupons.com On my side bar there is a link to MoneySavingMom.com. They do a great job of informing their readers of weekly sales and coupon deals that you can find. Check it out!
Oh, and I also sign up online to join lots of clubs - Kellogs, restaurants, favorite clothing stores, etc. because they frequently email you coupons when you do.

Way to Go! I've been saving just like you since January. At our last MOPS meeting I thought about having a little game of guessing how much I spend on the following items. Maybe I'll post it instead and have you all guess.

Wow! I'm REALLY impressed. I must be doing something wrong. I get coupons from couponbug.com and the Sunday paper, but I'm only able to save about $5 a week with my coupons :(
