Owen has proven to be a wonderful big brother! He enjoys kissing his sister and often wants to hold her. Twice in the last two days he has even put her to sleep. I'm not kidding. I am training her to put herself to sleep so I put her in her bassinet when she is still awake. She typically cries for a little while and then goes to sleep. Today and yesterday I secretly observed Owen go into my bedroom and say, "Au-bee, it's okay. Stop crying. Here's your doll." Then he places her doll right above her head, pats her back and says, "Shhhh. It's okay. Shhh." And within a few seconds she is silent. Then he comes out and says, "Mama, Au-bee is sleeping." And sure enough, she is!

Are you sleeping in your big boy bed still....with crazy monkey George?
He has been sleeping in his big boy bed for about three months now, but George isn't allowed in bed with him. I don't know why, but Owen refuses to let him.
How strange it is...
Perhaps Owen is scared of the man with the big yellow hat who tends to accompany George from time to time...
