Our family generally starts each day by reading the Bible together and praying after breakfast. We use The Jesus Storybook Bible and the The Big Picture Story Bible. Once we read through one, we go go back to the other. We love them both, and so does Owen. Somehow many, many months ago he began referring to these Bibles as "The God Books." He knows they are special books and he gets very excited when it's time to pull them down and read them. He listens intently, comments on the pictures and sometimes acts out what we are reading. A few weeks ago I found Owen reading the God Book to Will. He has done it a few times now and it's so cute to listen to. He looks at the pictures and tries to figure out what is going on, but he talks with authority like he really knows the story. Will seems to be interested in whatever it is Owen comes up with. Maybe we have another preacher in the family?
