Always Into Something . . .

She's cute, but she's a handful! Here is Aubrey playing in the bathroom sink, ready to drench herself. Just in the last few days, she's done the following:

- Pushed a chair over to the kitchen sink and successfully got water everywhere in the few seconds my eyes were off of her.

- Fell out of a grocery cart.

- Tipped over and fell off of a kitchen chair.

- Covered her face with chapstick.

- Got into my eyeliner and colored her cheeks with it.

- Used a permanent marker to draw on herself and the couch.

- Squirted shampoo all over her clothed body.

- Grabbed Owen's cup of milk and dumped it out on the floor.

- Stood on the back of the toilet and then proceeded to fall off of it.

- Grabbed a steak knife and tried to cut with it.

- Got into my body lotion and lathered herself up with it.

*And this is only what I can remember . . . . and just since Friday.

(I know this makes me look like a terrible mother, but trust me: it's impossible to keep all dangerous objects out of reach when your child is a climber!)

I'm so glad I'm not the only mama who has babies like that ;) sounds just like my lily and henry did when he was that age :)

Neither of my kids were climbers, that makes me happy...but I don't have any good stories to tell like you do. :)

Evan was and is kind of like that....Noel is ALREADY into simply everything. I'm sure I'll have many stories to tell too. It is impossible to keep them from everything. Sometimes we just have to react to the curious little monkey like climbers.

Is she climbing out of her crib or have you already moved her into a bed?

Thankfully she has not climbed out of her crib. The mattress goes really low in our crib so it would difficult to climb out of. But we did move her into a big bed this last weekend, actually.
I just now checked my email and got your comment, Diana. Sorry!
